It’s concert season and that includes groups in the Bryan/College Station area! We are lucky to have some wonderful, talented musicians around us. Here are some concerts happening in our community in the coming weeks.
First up is the Harmonia Stellarum Houston who will be performing their program Monteverdi: Madrigali Guerrieri et Amorosi on April 22nd at First Presbyterian in Bryan. Artistic director Mario Aschauer will guide the group through Monteverdi’s eight books of madrigals. Find more information about the Harmonic Stellarum Houston and this program here.
The Texas Tenors are coming back to town to perform with the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra! They will perform a unique blend of classical, Broadway, and patriotic pop music. The Texas Tenors are a three-time Emmy Award trio who have had great success off the back of America’s Got Talent. Tickets for this event can be found on the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra’s page here.
For the jazz lovers out there, the Brazos Valley Jazz Society will be hosting their annual Jazz Fest at the Palace Theater in Downtown Bryan on May 5th. Groups included are Brazos Christian School, Peter Lieuwen Trio, Greg Tivis Jazz Band, Kim Prevost and Bill Solley.
